The Eco Hopper’s technical compartment

During the design phase, great attention was paid to efficiency, safety, and accessibility. Thanks to its clear layout, the spacious arrangement of components, and the easily removable roof, maintenance and service activities can be carried out with ease.

The technical compartment is constructed from insulated sandwich panels, providing a quiet and comfortable working environment for the operators working on the machine. Inside, the compartment contains two frequency-controlled screw compressors, an air dryer, the control cabinets including PLC control, and two hydraulic power packs. To maintain optimal climate conditions inside the compartment, a dual air-conditioning system has been installed.

Recently, during the testing phase, the technical compartment was mounted onto the undercarriage using a crane. All integrated systems were thoroughly tested before the complete undercarriage, including the technical compartment, was prepared for transport to the site where the full installation will be commissioned at the end of this year. In the photos, the protective film on the panels is still visible; this will remain in place temporarily to protect the finish during transport and assembly.
