Project completed: Ship loader with conveyor belt supply

In December, we completed an impressive installation at GCT NV Sea-Invest in Ghent. We are proud to present this project: a system for loading wood pellets.

Capacity: 600 tons per hour
Ship loader: Self-propelled, equipped with a DRH hopper for dust-free loading and placed on track
Conveyor belt at quay: 160 meters long, height-adjustable and extendable

We also modified the existing tower with a diverter valve to feed the new line with product. For comfortable operation, the operator's cabin is air-conditioned.

The system is also equipped with dust extraction at various points. To simplify maintenance, stainless steel pipes have been installed from the platforms to all bearing and pivot points.

The installation officially goes live this month. A wonderful collaboration and an impressive result!
